Ones and Zeros was founded in 1997 by Sandra Duetsch with the intent to provide Information Technology Management Consulting Services. In 2000 a second partner, Mandy Newell, joined the business.

Engagement of assignments undertaken was always to be driven by a strong business case.  This would focus energy in developing innovative and cost effective methods that ensure rapid realization of benefits to clients. The rich IP that lay in the people and methods developed by Ones & Zeros was a very attractive proposition.

In July 2008, Ones & Zeros sold 51% share to SilverBridge Holdings listed on the JSE’s Alt –X. SilverBridge Holdings consolidated all operating subsidiaries into one operating entity in April 2011 and renamed that entity SilverBridge Software Solutions. As part of this process the outstanding shares of Ones & Zeros was purchased.
